Hi and welcome to Jonathangoodman.ca. If you’re here you were probably referred through another site or fitness friend. If you found me through a search engine then cool, the system works. Either way, I want to throw out a big thank you for taking the time to check it out.
What Do I get?
First off, relax, and take a seat. If you’ve followed the Personal Trainer Development Center or have seen me write for other web pages or publications you know that I’m passionate about personal training and Fitness. I only want to pass along well-researched information and positive feelings. There will be no rants here, sorry.
I have no set plan for this site and don’t promise consistency with posts. The best way to keep up with the info is to sign up for our email list by entering your info into the form on the right or subscribe to our RSS feed.
I’ve also been fortunate to make some amazing friends in the industry. You can check out their pages here. The posts I feature are a combination of my own material and contributions from other coaches. If you are interested in submitting a piece please email me at jonathan@theptdc.com with an outline of who you are and what your idea is.
If you ever have a question or want to see articles on particular subjects please let me know and I’ll either write it myself or get a relevant expert to do a post on the subject. My email is jonathan@theptdc.com.

Fine fine, I’ll support you. What are you going to be writing about?
Some material will be specific for personal trainers and others will be general exercise advice. Book reviews or random musings about the fitness world. I enjoy philosophizing and will try to drop some unique opinions relative to fitness philosophy on you from time to time.
To make the page easier to sift through I have itemized the posts. Simply click on the subject that interests you and make your way through the posts. If there is something specific you’re looking for, feel free to send me a message.
