Everything I’ve done has been shrouded with doubt. At every step of the way there were forces telling me to stop and take the safe route. My life was comfortable. I worked with amazing people and made enough money. At any point I can go back into my old life and get a job at a gym training my clients not worrying about the outside world. I’d be hitting singles. I’d be Roger Hornsby. Instead I keep going deeper down the rabbit hole because a life without dingers isn’t a life worth living.

Dingers. When I go to the ball park I want to see a guy hit dingers, not singles. (In the following article you’ll be exposed to a wide variety of uses for the word “dinger”. It just… has this ring to it. A certain je nu sais quoi. Say it a couple times and tell me if you don’t smile. Dinger DINger DINGER

The Babe had 714 home runs in his 22 year career. He also struck out 1330 times. Compare that to Roger Hornsby who hit only 301 home runs but also struck out a meager

Well, I logged on here this morning, and have read a huge amount of the blog posts that you have posted over the past few months, and I have to say as a personal trainer starting out, I went straight out and ordered "ignite the fire". There is a lot of hype and trends in every market but I cannot believe the amount in the fitness industry.

I then see that you're shutting this page down! I'm just glad I got to read the advice you've given to so many people before you closed it down.

What I'm trying to say is that I'm glad there are still fitness professionals out there focussed on the clients wellbeing as well as their career, there are countless people who I've met so far that are too concerned with how much they can charge rather than the service they are providing.
